Revell 1:24 VW T1 campervan is a plastic kit of the cult Volkswagen camper van.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:24 scale captures the cult camper version of the Volkswagen T1 microbus, an iconic symbol of freedom and travel in the 1960s. The model offers a finely worked body with the characteristic split windshield and period graphics.
The first-generation Volkswagen Type 2, nicknamed the T1 or Bulli, appeared at the turn of the 1940s and 1950s. The campervan version with its built-in sleeping and cooking equipment became a legend and remains one of the most popular classics to this day. It was powered by an air-cooled flat-four engine mounted at the rear.
It is best to spray the body with an airbrush over a primer; a two-tone finish is typical of the T1 and careful masking pays off. Use liquid cement for plastic on the joints, and the chrome trim can be emphasized afterwards. A gloss coat under the decals evens out the surface beneath the period graphics.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
