A set of 3D printed color decals from Quinta Studio. It is not a model but a decorative accessory for car models in 1:24 scale. It contains reproductions of the license plates of the western states of the USA from the 1950-1960 period, made as a 3D decal on film with a raised, color-printed surface and with a metal base. The Part 2 designation means the second part of the collection; it follows on from Part 1 and brings further states and variants of the plates.
A license plate gives a vehicle model credibility in period as well as in place. The 3D execution gives the characters real depth, which a flat decal does not have, and the metal base gives the plate stiffness and a metallic look. The set is universal (for All Kits) and suits the front as well as the rear plate mount.
Apply to a clean, degreased surface, work with tweezers and seat the plate precisely, because repositioning it once it has keyed is limited. The metal base can be tinted or weathered as needed to match the vehicle.
The accessory is supplied separately; the vehicle model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
