Master Box World of Fantasy: Graggeron and Halseya (1:24) is a plastic fantasy set of a female warrior and a lizard creature to be assembled and painted.
Responsibility details are not available.
This fantasy figure set from the Ukrainian manufacturer Master Box in 1:24 scale belongs to the World of Fantasy range and presents the pair Graggeron and Halseya. Graggeron is a massive lizard creature serving as a riding and pack animal, on whose back sits the warrior Halseya. The larger 1:24 scale lets both the fine details of the figure and the broken-up skin of the creature stand out, which is why the set is popular with figure painters. It is an injection-molded plastic kit to be glued and painted.
The World of Fantasy range came about as an answer to the popularity of fantasy books, films and games, for which good figures in this scale are hard to come by. The subject is not based on a historical original but on an imaginary world, which leaves the modeler free in the coloring of the creature's skin and of the warrior's armor and accessories.
Clean the parts up and glue them with cement for plastic. For fantasy subjects a primer and a combination of airbrush and brush work well: build the creature's skin up from a darker base with lightened edges, and work the warrior's skin and armor with glazes. A fantasy theme invites experiments with color, contrast and effects such as wet skin or a metallic sheen.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
