1:24 WWII RAF Instruments Decals

RAF instruments WWII 1:24 (Airscale)

This set of decals from the British firm Airscale holds color dials of the aircraft instruments typical of British RAF aircraft of the Second World War in 1:24 scale. It is not a model but an accessory for fitting out an instrument panel faithfully. Every instrument is separate on the sheet, which allows precise placement into the individual recesses of the panel. The subjects are common to most British types of the period.

The real subject

The instrument panels of RAF aircraft brought together instruments for flight control, navigation, engine monitoring, the oxygen system and auxiliary systems. In the large 1:24 scale the panel is clearly visible, and faithful, legible dials therefore raise the realism of a cockpit fundamentally.

Use

• Cut the instruments out individually and glue them into the recesses of the panel
• Apply onto a smooth surface prepared with varnish
• Use a softener so that they settle into the detail
• The glass of an instrument can be suggested with a drop of clear varnish

Who the set is for

For modelers building large 1:24 models of British WWII aircraft who want a faithful and legible instrument panel. It will be appreciated by builders with an open cockpit.

This is a decal accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
