An injection-molded plastic kit of the American classic car Hudson Hornet Special of 1954 in 1:25 scale from Moebius Models. The kit is molded in gray plastic and completed with chrome-plated and clear parts; it offers a fully detailed body, interior, chassis, engine and drivetrain and a decal sheet with the period features of the car.
The Hudson Hornet was an American car that in the first half of the 1950s became famous for its low unit-body construction and for its successes on oval racing tracks. It was powered by a large inline six-cylinder engine of around 308 cubic inches, which made the car one of the most successful racers of its day. Today the Hornet is among the icons of American motoring history.
Spray the body with a quality primer and color, ideally with an airbrush, and add a final clear coat for a deep shine. Separate and glue the chrome-plated parts carefully so as not to damage the plating; finish and paint the engine and the interior before you close the body. Apply the waterslide decals over a gloss base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
