This is a pre-painted three-dimensional instrument panel of colored resin, not an aircraft kit. The accessory is meant for Fw 190A-8 models armed with WGr.21 rockets in the unusual aircraft scale of 1:35 and raises the cockpit to a level hard to reach by painting it by hand, with faithful dials and imitated gloss on the glasses.

The real subject

The Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 was a German single-seat fighter with the BMW 801 radial engine. In the variant with underwing Werfer-Granate 21 (WGr.21) launchers it attacked tight formations of Allied bombers from a safe distance and broke up their formation.

Use and fitting

• Separate the part from its carrier frame and glue it in place of the original panel.
• Super glue (cyanoacrylate) is ideal; modeling PVA glue can be used as well.
• The surface is finished; the dials do not have to be painted in.
