Vallejo USAF Markings - painting stencil

A reusable masking stencil for spraying American national aircraft insignia - stars and the later star and bar type insignia. It is made of a translucent flexible material that follows flat and slightly curved surfaces well. The sheet covers the common modeling scales 1:32, 1:48 and 1:72.

Use

  • Lay the stencil on the surface, hold it down and spray the paint
  • Spray perpendicular to the surface and in thin coats so that the paint does not run under the edge
  • The material is washable and reusable
  • It works with an airbrush, a spray can and a brush

Who it is for

For modelers who want clean, repeatable national insignia without using decals. It is not a paint or a model but an aid for masking.
