A pair of laser-guided Paveway II bombs in the British configuration in the 1000 lb weight class, 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Paveway II is a laser guidance kit: it turns an ordinary aircraft bomb into a guided weapon by adding a seeker head and new tail surfaces. The British configuration in the 1000 lb weight class was carried by the Panavia Tornado, the Eurofighter, the Buccaneer and the BAe Harrier.
The package contains two bombs for models in 1:32 scale. They are hung on the pylons that your kit offers; how the parts of one bomb are broken down and in what order they go together is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts are not polystyrene; they are bonded with super glue. Cut excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest flat, so that the glued surface seats with no gap. Before painting, wash and degrease the parts, or the paint will hold badly on them. Seat the seeker head and the tail surfaces in line with the body of the bomb, otherwise the store will sit visibly askew on the model. Paint both bombs off the model and hang them last of all; choose the color markings from a photograph of the subject you are building.
The set suits builders of large models of British combat aircraft who want stores better worked out than the kit offers. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
