Responsibility details are not available.
This set from Reskit completes a large F-16 model with a pair of drop tanks under the wings together with their pylons. According to the name it is the type 1 version made by 3D printing. The item belongs among add-on accessories, so the base kit has to be your own.
Tanks with a capacity of three hundred and seventy gallons hang on the inboard wing stations and, together with a centerline tank, make up the classic ferry configuration. They increase the range enough for the machine to manage a transfer between distant bases; in combat maneuvering, though, they are jettisoned, because they limit the permitted g loading.
Symmetrical placement of the two tanks is the key: before you offer the first one up, measure the position on both halves of the wing and note it down. Degrease the surface once prepared and spray a primer, otherwise every fingerprint will show on the smooth body. The tanks are often painted in a somewhat cooler shade than the wing, so it is worth trying the tone out on an offcut.
When an aircraft carries a pair of wing tanks, the outboard stations stay free for armament and the place on the axis of the fuselage often goes to a jamming pod. After the tanks are jettisoned, bare pylons stay on the wing, so even a machine with no fuel under the wings has pylons underneath that must not be forgotten during the build.
The package contains neither paints nor glue.
