This is NOT an aircraft model but a pre-colored 3D interior for one particular kit. It is a set from the maker Quinta Studio intended for the plastic model of the Douglas A-20J/A-20K Havoc (designated Boston IV in Royal Air Force service) in 1:32 scale from the brand HK Models. The set is made up of 3D-printed interior parts, colored straight from the factory, printed on a decal backing.
The parts are on a decal backing paper: you cut them out, dip them in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide them off the paper into place. Unlike a flat decal they have real 3D relief. They have no adhesive of their own and hold on gloss varnish (Future, Klear, Tamiya X-22), so polish the base to a gloss, as a matte base is a mistake. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution, as their chemistry would damage the printed resin and ruin the piece. What comes about is a photorealistic interior with depth: the pilot's cockpit, the instrument panel, the side panels and further spaces in faithful colors, and all that with no painting. The set is designed exactly to the shape of the parts of this kit and will not fit another A-20 model. You have to own the kit itself, as it is not in the package.
The Douglas A-20 Havoc (the Boston with the Royal Air Force) was an American twin-engine attack and light bombing aircraft of the Second World War, valued for its speed, reliability and good handling. The A-20J/A-20K versions were distinguished by a glazed nose for the bombardier. The machine was committed in large numbers by Allied air forces on a number of fronts.
This is an interior set for one particular kit, not a model in its own right. Apply the parts onto a gloss base, and on broken-up spots a drop of cyanoacrylate glue helps. Do not use a decal softener with Quinta, as it damages the printed resin. A matte varnish will unify the finished interior. The kit, glue, varnishes and paints are not included in the package.
