This is a resin detail set from Wolfpack in 1:32 scale for the Trumpeter kit of the American attack aircraft A-7D Corsair II. It is not an airplane model, but an accessory portraying the launch rails for air-to-air guided missiles (AAM), specifically the Aero 3B type adapters for carrying missiles on the sides of the fuselage of the A-7D/K version. The package contains resin castings and color instructions in A5 format.
AAM launch rails make it possible to carry air-to-air guided missiles (typically the AIM-9 Sidewinder) for the self-defense of an attack aircraft. The accessory equips the model with faithful launchers, which widen the options for the fit and raise the realism of the stores.
Wash the mold release agent off the castings, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is advisable to paint the small parts first and only then fit them to the model.
The accessory is supplied as unpainted resin castings. The Trumpeter kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
