1:32 A-7D/E Corsair II pilot sitting in ejection seat IC-2 (3D Printed) is a printed figure of a pilot sitting in an ejection seat.
Responsibility details are not available.
A printed figure of a pilot in 1:32 scale, rendered already seated in an ejection seat of the IC-2 type. The set is intended for the cockpit of a model of the American A-7 Corsair II carrier attack aircraft. Because the figure is designed together with the seat, it sits in it naturally and the usual problem of a figure that will not fit into the space or floats in it does not arise. Printing can manage the folds of the flight suit, the straps and the details of the helmet.
The A-7 Corsair II was an American carrier attack aircraft created by shrinking and reworking the F-8 Crusader fighter into a subsonic machine with a large bomb load. It served the US Navy as well as the US Air Force and was known for the accuracy of its navigation and targeting equipment. The IC-2 ejection seat belonged to its earlier fitting; later a more modern seat of a different design replaced it on some of the machines.
The printed parts are held on thin supports. Snip them off close to the figure and level the face with a scalpel. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting. Fit the figure into the cockpit dry and check that the helmet will go under the canopy. Build the face up in layers from shadow to light and add the eyes only at the very end.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
