This set is NOT a model of an aircraft but a detailed cockpit intended for the injection-molded kit of the A-7E Corsair II (late version) from the manufacturer Trumpeter. It combines resin 3D-printed cockpit parts with photorealistically pre-colored 3D decals of the instrument panels. It is the Basic edition - the basic form of the cockpit. You have to own the base Trumpeter kit separately.
The A-7 Corsair II was an American single-seat subsonic attack aircraft of the navy, derived in shape from the F-8 Crusader fighter. The A-7E version was the most widespread naval modification and the late form corresponds to the later period of its service.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate); do the sanding with respiratory protection. The pre-colored 3D decals of the instruments are softened in water and stuck straight onto the part - they give the cockpit realistic relief WITHOUT painting the instruments. Paint the rest of the cockpit in as needed and unify it with a wash.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
