Captured Emil No.2 - a captured Bf 109 E-4/B, 1:32

A decal set in 1:32 scale for kits of the fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109 E. The second part of the Captured Emil series is devoted to one particular machine of the E-4/B version which was captured during the Second World War and subsequently operated by the opposing side. The set contains sheets of decals for the given markings; the model itself is not included in the package.

The real subject

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 E, nicknamed the Emil, was one of the key fighters of the beginning of the Second World War. Machines that fell into the hands of the opposing side were usually remarked with new national insignia and test codes and served for the evaluation of flying characteristics. It is precisely such configurations, with a combination of the original camouflage and new markings, that are popular among modelers as an unconventional variant.

Use

• The decals are applied onto a clear-coated, gloss and dry surface
• A decal softener and a decal fixer are recommended for settling into the details
• Suitable for finishing a model of the Bf 109 E-4/B in captured configuration

Who the set is for

For modelers who want to build a historically documented captured Bf 109 E in 1:32 scale. The model, the paints and the glue are not included.

The set contains decals only. Neither the aircraft kit nor the paints are included in the package.
