An injection-molded plastic model of the single-seat European multirole fighter EF-2000 Eurofighter Typhoon in 1:32 scale from the Trumpeter brand. At the large 1:32 scale the rich surface detail, the worked-out cockpit with its instrument panel and the pair of finely rendered jet engines all come into their own. The package contains photo-etched parts for the seat belts, folding elements and a rich load of external stores; the decals cover machines of European air forces.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a twin-engine fourth-generation multirole fighter developed by a European consortium. Characteristic is the delta wing layout with canards, which gives the aircraft high agility. It is powered by two EJ200 jet engines. The Typhoon carries out air-to-air as well as air-to-ground tasks and serves with a number of European air forces as the backbone of their fighter fleets.
Glue the plastic parts with thin modeling cement for plastic and the photo-etched parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is advisable to mask the large cockpit glazing so that the framing stays clean; finish and paint the cockpit and the engines before the fuselage is closed. Apply a primer before painting, lay the modern gray schemes on with an airbrush in thin coats and gently bring out the panel lines.
