This is a resin detail set from Wolfpack in 1:32 scale that faithfully portrays the ELTA 8222 electronic warfare jamming pod. It is not an airplane model, but an accessory to be hung under an F-15 Eagle fighter. The set contains castings of the pod and an adapter for hanging it, complemented by a decal sheet and color instructions.
ECM pods (Electronic Counter Measures) serve to jam enemy radars and guidance systems. The ELTA 8222 is an Israeli jamming pod carried under the fuselage or under the wing of F-15 fighters. The accessory makes it possible to build the model in the faithful fit for electronic warfare missions and to enrich the external stores with a prominent, clearly visible element.
Wash the mold release agent off the castings, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray a smooth gloss varnish before applying the decals, matte it down once it has dried and add a fine panel-line wash.
The accessory is supplied as unpainted resin castings with a decal. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
