About product

A 3D-printed colored interior for the Eurofighter Typhoon twin-seater, lit displays, 1:32 (for the Trumpeter kit), Quinta Studio, Small version

A set of pre-colored cockpit parts from the brand Quinta Studio. These are 3D-printed, pre-colored parts laid on a decal backing: the pieces are moistened and applied like a decal, but when dry they form a fine three-dimensional 3D relief with photorealistic colors. The result is a detailed cockpit with no need for painting. This variant is intended for the twin-seat version (two seats in tandem) and carries the designation Powered-up Displays: the multifunction screens are printed as switched on and lit, so that the cockpit looks started up; the ordinary version has the displays dark. It is not an aircraft model and not a complete kit; it is a detail accessory exclusively for the twin-seat Eurofighter Typhoon kit from the maker Trumpeter, which you have to own, and it will not fit the single-seat version or other kits. The designation Small version means a reduced set with only the most important visible elements of the cockpit; the full version is made separately.

The real subject

The Eurofighter Typhoon is a European supersonic multirole fourth-generation fighter with a delta wing and canard foreplanes. The twin-seat version has two seats arranged in tandem and serves for training as well as for carrying out combat tasks. The cockpit is fully digital with large multifunction displays.

How to use the set

The parts are cut out, dipped in water for a few seconds and slid off the backing into their place in the cockpit. Do not use a decal softener, as it damages the printed resin; a final coat of gloss or semi-gloss varnish is enough. The base of the kit should be clean and degreased.

Who the set is for

  • For owners of the twin-seat Eurofighter Typhoon kit from Trumpeter in 1:32 scale.
  • For modelers who want the effect of a started-up cockpit with lit displays.
  • For beginners and advanced builders alike: the application is easier than detailing by hand.
  • For those for whom bringing out the main visible elements of the cockpit is enough (the reduced set).

This is an accessory for a kit, not a model. The Eurofighter kit itself, glue, paints and varnishes are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.

FAQ

The screens of the cockpit are printed as switched on and lit, with their symbology shown. The cockpit therefore looks started up. The ordinary version has the displays dark.

No. This set is for the twin-seat version with two seats. For the single-seat Typhoon a separate set is intended.

A reduced, simplified set with only the most important visible elements of the cockpit. The complete interior is made as a full version.

No, the parts are pre-colored. They are applied like a decal; do not use a decal softener, as a final coat of gloss varnish is enough.
