This Reskit set contains male figures of the airmen of the two-seat Thunderchief in the second offered pose. The number of pieces is given by the name of the item. The figures are intended to complete a finished model or a scene where someone alive is to stand beside the machine.
The brand issues the same crew in two variants of stance, so that the builder can choose according to the composition of his display case or combine both sets. In a larger scene with several figures a repeated identical pose is distracting, whereas two different pairs create the impression of natural movement around the aircraft.
The F-105F and F-105G were two-seat derivatives of the Thunderchief with a cockpit laid out one behind the other. The version designated with the letter G came about for suppressing ground radars and carried special equipment for that, recognizable by the additions on the fuselage. It is with these machines that a pair of figures suits best and the scene looks natural.
