A set of waterslide decals from the American brand Two Bobs in 1:32 scale, devoted to the Minute Men anniversary finish on the F-16C fighter. The set is intended to complete a model of the single-seat Fighting Falcon in the celebratory scheme; it holds national insignia, lettering and the elements of the special finish. It is not a kit, but add-on decals applied to a finished, painted model.
The F-16C Fighting Falcon is a single-seat multi-role fighter from General Dynamics (later Lockheed Martin), a mainstay type of the US Air Force and of a number of allied air arms. The designation Minute Men has a historical link to the Colorado National Guard and its tradition; the anniversary special for the half century recalls that history with a prominent finish on the fuselage and the fin. First finish the model in its base shade and clear coat it with gloss, so that the decals do not go milky. Slide the individual elements onto their places after soaking in lukewarm water, align them and blot the water away. On large areas and transitions across engraved lines, use a decal softener and a decal fixer. Finally unify the surface with a protective clear coat.
