A set of colored 3D decals for the interior of a model of the F-35C in 1:32 scale. They are applied like an ordinary decal, but on the model they create a three-dimensional surface, so they replace the flat kit parts and save you painting the small details of the cockpit. It is not a kit, a photo-etched set or a resin part, but an accessory intended for the Trumpeter kit in this scale.
The F-35C is the carrier form of the single-engine F-35 combat aircraft, adapted for operation from aircraft carriers. Compared with the land-based version it has a larger wing area with folding wingtips, strengthened landing gear and an arrestor hook. The cockpit is modern, with a large display instead of a conventional array of dials, so the interior is exactly where three-dimensional colored decals pay off most.
Kits of large modern aircraft often handle the cockpit with a flat part carrying molded relief, which has to be laboriously painted and picked out. Colored 3D decals take over that work: the color and the raised relief are finished, and you only prepare the base and apply the decal.
It is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
