A resin detail set for experienced modelers from Reskit in 1:32 scale. It is not an aircraft model but replacement landing gear wheels that sharpen up the plastic kit of the British Hawker Hunter fighter in the F.6, FGA.9 and export Mk.58 versions. The resin tires have a faithful tread and fine detail on the hubs and the wheel centers.
The Hawker Hunter was a British jet fighter and attack aircraft of the 1950s that became one of the most successful postwar RAF types and served in many countries. The F.6 and FGA.9 versions were among the capable later marks, and the Mk.58 was an export variant.
Wash the mold release agent off the wheels and cut off the casting blocks; glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The tires can be shaded with a matte dark gray and the hubs brought out with a wash. A slight flattening of the tread at the bottom (a weighted effect) adds realism.
It is supplied as a resin set, unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
