This plastic kit from the maker Special Hobby in 1:32 scale depicts the American JB-2 Loon guided missile, a copy of the German V-1 manufactured in the USA. The package is complemented by 3D-printed and etched (photoetched) parts for fine details and it offers several variants of markings of American missiles.
The JB-2 Loon was the American copy of the German Fieseler Fi 103 (V-1) missile powered by a pulsejet, which arose by reverse engineering toward the end of the Second World War. It was introduced with both the US Army and the US Navy and was still in use into the mid-1950s as a weapon and as a test vehicle.
Glue the model with thin plastic cement, and separate the 3D-printed parts from their supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A filler primer and an airbrush are recommended; even out the smooth surfaces of the body before painting. Both an olive and an all-white look are on offer according to the markings you choose.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
