A 3D-printed resin set of replacement wheels in 1:32 scale for a model of the German multi-purpose Junkers Ju-88 in its late version. It is not a kit but a landing gear detail accessory with a weighted effect: the tire is slightly flattened at the contact patch, as if the weight of the aircraft were resting on it. The tread pattern corresponds to the late production version.
The Ju-88 was among the most versatile German aircraft of the Second World War. Originally a medium bomber, during the conflict it turned into a dive bomber, a torpedo bomber, a night fighter and a reconnaissance machine and stayed in production for practically the whole war.
Wash the print resin residue off the wheels, separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the hub and the tire separately and orient the flattened area straight down. Sand with respiratory protection.
The set contains the wheels only and is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
