A set of colored Kelik 3D decals for the cockpit of the carrier-borne attack aircraft LTV A-7 E Corsair II in 1:32 scale. It is an accessory for a plastic kit, not an airplane model. The pre-printed, three-dimensionally layered films capture the instrument panel, the side consoles and the seat in high relief. The parts are colored as they come from the factory and give the pilot's compartment a realistic depth without etched parts and hand painting.
The A-7 E Corsair II is the carrier-borne version of the subsonic attack aircraft used by naval aviation. It was distinguished by precise navigation and attack avionics, long range and the ability to carry a wide assortment of armament for strikes on ground targets. The E version differed from the land-based D in its equipment and in its adaptation for operation from aircraft carriers.
Degrease the interior surfaces, let the decal soften and press it into the relief with a softener. A gentle wash and a matte clear coat will bring out the instruments and unify the surface. The set is intended for the naval E version, so take care to match it to that type.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a standalone model. The aircraft kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
