1:32 Luftwaffe wing walkway stencils for Messerschmitt Bf 109

Wing walkway stencils for the Bf 109 – masks 1:32 (77propeller)

A set of self-adhesive masking templates from 77propeller for spraying the markings of walkway strips and no-step areas on the wings of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in 1:32 scale. These are not decals but an aid for the airbrush – the service stencils and lines are sprayed directly in paint. Compared with the generic version these templates are shaped for the wing of the Bf 109 in particular.

What the accessory is for

Walkway markings marked out a safe path across the wing for the ground crew and on a model they give the surface an authentic period look. Sprayed markings have no glossy film and no decal edges and follow the surface better. In the large 1:32 scale these details are prominent, so it is worth doing them carefully.

Use

• Let the surface cure perfectly before the masks are put on
• Reduce the tack of the mask before use so that it does not damage the paint
• Press the mask down carefully all the way round
• Take the mask off immediately after spraying and clean the area

Who it is for

For modelers who build the Bf 109 in the large 1:32 scale and want to spray the service markings instead of using decals. It calls for experience with masking and an airbrush.

The set does not contain the model, paints or glue. It serves as an aid for spraying an existing model.
