Messerschmitt Bf 109G - type 2 wheels (weighted) 1:32 is a resin detail set that replaces the plastic wheels of a kit with more faithful castings with the effect of a compressed tire.

This is a stand-alone detail set in resin, not a model of the aircraft. The set contains replacement main wheels for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G in 1:32 scale and is meant to be exchanged for the parts from the original kit. The wheels are rendered as so-called weighted, with a slightly flattened and bulged tire, as though the weight of the machine were bearing down on them on the ground.
The cast wheels carry a sharper tread pattern, finer detail of the wheel and the hub and a more faithful shape of the tire than injection-molded plastic. The effect of a compressed tire adds realism to a finished model, above all in builds taxiing or standing on an apron.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting gates carefully and sand the surfaces down. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Do not breathe in resin dust, and sand with respiratory protection. It is worth painting the tire and the wheel separately and bringing out the shades.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
