A detailed resin set of replacement wheels for models of the Messerschmitt Me-262 in 1:32 scale, the Type 2 form. It is not an airplane kit but a landing gear accessory. The wheels are weighted, with a realistic bulge to the tire. The maker is the Ukrainian brand Reskit. The designation Type 2 corresponds to one of the wheel forms of this subject.
The Me-262 Schwalbe was the first jet fighter to enter series service, powered by a pair of jet engines under the wing. The nose-wheel landing gear and its tires are clearly visible on a model, so it pays to render them as faithfully as possible.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Prime the wheels before painting and set the flattened contact area perpendicular to the ground.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. It is supplied unpainted and unassembled; paints and glue are not included in the package.
