This accessory is a replacement nose cone, not a complete model. It is a 3D-printed resin part in 1:32 scale for building the modernized Dassault Mirage 2000-5 version. The part faithfully captures the shape of the nose that matches this subversion and replaces the part from the base kit.
The Mirage 2000-5 is a modernized multi-role version of the Mirage 2000 with a more capable radar and extended guided missile capability. The shape of the nose cone is determined by the type of radar, which is why the noses of the individual Mirage 2000 subversions differ. A precisely shaped radome sharpens the silhouette of the model.
Separate the part from the print supports, wash and degrease it; it is bonded with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Sand and fill the joint with the fuselage lightly, then lay down a primer and a shade matching the antenna cover. Use respiratory protection when sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
