The fine printing faithfully captures the petals of the nozzle and the inner structure, which the plastic parts from the box usually only suggest.
The engine nozzle is a prominent feature, and rendering it in detail markedly lifts the rear end of a model. The set is made for Mirage 2000 models in 1:32 scale and offers a crisper profile to the petals and the realistic depth that painting can bring out well.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and sand with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the nozzle in heat-tinted metal shades, darken the inside and pick out the petals with a dry brush or a wash.
