Responsibility details are not available.
This Reskit item is aimed at the OV-10A and OV-10C versions and brings several of the most closely watched places on a model together in one package: the cockpit with three-dimensional instrument decals, the landing gear legs, their bays and wheels with weighted tires. The basic edition designation sets it apart from the richer version that the manufacturer offers separately.
The North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco is a twin-engine turboprop machine with a pair of tail booms and a glazed tandem cockpit. It came about for reconnaissance, directing aircraft onto targets and light support from unpaved surfaces, which is why it has a robust landing gear and a high-set field of view. The OV-10A version served American forces, including deployment in Southeast Asia, while the OV-10C version went into foreign service. The glazing of the cockpit reaches down below the level of the feet, so the cockpit space really can be seen into well.
It is advisable to wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent before gluing, to cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw and to finish the surface with wet abrasive paper. Cyanoacrylate glue holds the joints. Three-dimensional decals are settled onto a dry, lightly gloss ground and should not be deformed by pressure. With wheels that have a flat contact patch, do not forget to turn them toward the ground, otherwise the whole effect disappears.
