A pair of seated airmen for a model of the OV-10A Bronco in 1:32 scale, shaped into the ejection seats.
Responsibility details are not available.
A pair of resin figures captured seated. They are aimed at the cockpit of the original variant of the machine, whose seats have slightly different dimensions and a different angle of backrest than the later night execution, and the seating of the figures corresponds to that. In the package you will find two separate figures.
The OV-10A was the first production form of an aircraft that came about on an order for reconnaissance and direct support of troops from field strips. A pair of turboprop engines, a twin-boom tail and enormous glazing gave the crew a view that no jet machine could offer. Service began in Southeast Asia, where the aircraft directed strikes and watched movement on the ground, and continued with the US Air Force and the Marine Corps for many years more. That is exactly why you will meet this machine in period photographs from field strips more often than at concrete bases.
Try the figures dry before you reach for the glue: depending on the particular kit it may be necessary to take a few tenths of a millimeter off the underside of the seat. Thin layers of paint will keep the sharp edges of the folds of cloth. We recommend finishing the helmet with a gloss varnish and leaving the rest of the figure matte, because the contrast gives the figure depth. Paint the harness and the buckles only after the clothing has dried, otherwise a thin line will bleed.
The aircraft is sold separately; here you get only the crew.
