The P-40N is a late form of the American Curtiss P-40 fighter aircraft, that is of the type that did its share in the first years of the war on all the main battlefields. The N form came about by lightening the airframe, and you will recognize it by the lowered spine behind the cockpit, which improved the pilot's view to the rear. A twelve-cylinder Allison V-1710 V engine provided the power, thanks to which the nose has its typical slender shape with the large radiator beneath it.
These are color interior elements with a three-dimensional relief that are fitted directly onto the cockpit parts from the kit. They do away with laborious coloring by hand: the instrument panels, the side panels, the levers and the lettering come colored, and the relief gives them a depth that a flat decal does not have. According to the name the set is laid out for the Trumpeter kit, so the shapes correspond to its parts. In 1:32 scale the cockpit is clearly visible, so work on it pays off.
Before applying them, check in the instructions whether the elements are self-adhesive. The method of application differs between the individual ranges, so follow the manufacturer's instructions. Wash and degrease the cockpit parts beforehand, as nothing holds on a greasy surface. Lift an element out with tweezers or the tip of a knife, settle it dry, check its position and only then press it down. In recesses a brief press with a soft eraser or a wooden stick will help. Leave the surrounding areas painted and dry beforehand; the elements come last.
