This is a photo-etched detail sheet (not a model of an aircraft) that brings fine metal bezels for framing the instruments in a cockpit in the large 1:32 scale. Airscale is a British brand specializing in cockpit accessories. The bezels cover British (RAF), German and American instruments and are universal, so they can be adapted to practically any cockpit of that era.
The photo-etched sheet carries instrument bezels of various diameters and styles matching British, German and American equipment. The fine relief of the etching imitates the mounting rings and the rims of the instruments, which gives the instrument panel the depth that a flat decal on its own does not have.
Separate the parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife and shape them in a photo-etch bender if needed. A bezel is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate) over a decal that is already in place, so the impression of a real instrument with a rim comes about. The set is designed as the ideal companion to the instrument decals from the same brand.
