Sopwith F.1 Camel Le Rhone - Stencils 1:32 is a sheet of technical markings from HGW made as wet transfers without a carrier film, for models of the legendary fighter with the Le Rhône rotary engine.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of small technical markings (stencils) for a model of the British Sopwith F.1 Camel fighter biplane in the version with the Le Rhône rotary engine, in 1:32 scale. The set is made with the wet transfer technology of the Czech maker HGW: only the colored layer of the print is transferred to the model, with no glossy carrier film, so that the markings look as though printed directly on the surface.
The Sopwith Camel was one of the most successful fighter aircraft of the First World War; the version with the Le Rhône engine differed in its cowling and in the details of the power plant. The sheet holds period service inscriptions, production and operating lettering and small instructional markings that bring the surface of a model to life and give it a realistic look.
The base has to be clean, degreased and best of all coated with gloss varnish; a smooth surface secures faultless adhesion. The transfer is moistened, placed in position, the water is pressed out from underneath and, once dry, the carrier film is peeled off. A prior test of compatibility with the varnish used is recommended. Finally, coat the surface with matte or semi-gloss varnish according to the look you want.
This is an accessory sheet of markings. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
