This set of waterslide decals from the Czech maker DK Decals brings markings for building models of the early Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I and Mk.II in 1:32 scale. The sheet is devoted to the machines of fighter aces and offers eight color schemes. It is an accessory for finishing a model, not a kit.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I and Mk.II were the first production versions of the famous British fighter with a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. They bore the main weight of the defense of Britain in 1940 and a number of pilots reached their first high scores of victories on them. The machines of the early versions have their characteristic two-blade or three-blade propeller and period national insignia, which makes them a popular modeling subject.
Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss finish. Dip the item briefly, slide it into place and soak the surplus water away. A softener will support the settling, and a final coat will unify the decals with the surface. The large scale places higher demands on precise placement.
This is a decal set. A model, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
