Responsibility details are not available.
A model of the legendary British Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb fighter in its early configuration, in the large 1:32 scale, from the New Zealand maker Kotare, valued for modern engineering and fine detail. A new tool; according to the manufacturer, Cartograf decals for three color schemes. A kit to be glued and painted.
The Spitfire was the iconic British fighter of the Second World War. The Mk.Vb version, with the Rolls-Royce Merlin 45 engine and the b-type wing (two 20 mm Hispano cannon plus four .303 machine guns), was one of the most widely used and bore the brunt of the fighting over western Europe between 1941 and 1943.
We recommend building the model in subassemblies and dry-fitting the parts before gluing them. Paint the cockpit and interior, and pick out the detail with a wash if you wish, before closing up the fuselage. For the best result use a good liquid cement for plastic, fine files and, after a primer coat, an airbrush. Apply the decals over a gloss clear coat and seal them with a matte one.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
