This detail set from the Ukrainian manufacturer ResKit contains two 3D-printed resin Storm Shadow guided missiles, designated SCALP EG in French service. It is not an airplane model but underwing armament with a high level of detail that you hang on the aircraft you are building. The printing faithfully renders the angular body and the deployed fins.
The Storm Shadow / SCALP EG is a British-French long-range guided missile intended for precise strikes against well protected ground targets. It is marked by low observability and by navigation combining an inertial system, satellite data and terminal image recognition of the target. Its carriers were various types, for example the Su-24, Tornado, Eurofighter Typhoon, Mirage 2000, Rafale and Nimrod.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Spray a primer and the light gray shade of the body, and accent the panel lines gently. The fins and the engine intake stand out after a careful dry brush.
This is an add-on armament set, not a standalone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the aircraft are not included in the package.
