This set of colored instrument dial decals (not an aircraft model) is intended for the cockpits of American aircraft of the Second World War in the large 1:32 scale. Airscale is a British brand focused on cockpit accessories. The motifs match the standard USAAF instrument fit and are universal for a range of types, for example the P-51 Mustang or the P-47 Thunderbolt.
The sheet brings faithfully printed dials of instruments for flight, navigation and engine monitoring, that is altimeters, airspeed indicators, artificial horizons, tachometers and others. The large 1:32 scale makes the scales legible and allows detailed work on the instrument panel.
Paint the instrument panel a flat dark color, cut the dials out close and settle them in the places of the instruments. Fix them with a decal softener and once dry add a drop of gloss varnish for the impression of glass. The ideal combination is with photo-etched instrument bezels from the same brand.
The accessory is supplied as a sheet of decals; it is not an aircraft model. Paints, varnish and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
