A detail replacement barrel in 1:35 scale, not a complete model. This turned metal part from the Polish firm Aber replaces the plastic barrel of the M-68 gun and gives the model a perfectly round profile, a crisp muzzle and finely rendered details, including the characteristic bore evacuator.
The American M68 gun of 105 mm caliber (a license development of the British L7) was the main armament of the M60 tank, which served the US army and a number of allies throughout the Cold War. The proven weapon appeared in various forms on other armored vehicle types as well.
Degrease the metal parts before gluing and use cyanoacrylate glue to put them together. Before painting, lay a primer onto the metal so that the paint holds well. Clean up the transition of the barrel into the gun mantlet carefully.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
