Weikert Decals 1st and 2nd Polish Army 1943–45, part 2, 1:35 is a set of wet decals with the markings of the vehicles of the Polish units formed in the Soviet Union.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of water-slide (wet) decals in 1:35 scale with the markings of the armored and other vehicles of the 1st and 2nd Polish Army, formed on the territory of the Soviet Union between 1943 and 1945. The second part follows on from the earlier set and offers tactical numbers, national insignia and eagles for several machines.
The Polish units fighting alongside the Red Army used mainly Soviet vehicles, to which they applied their own national symbols, above all the white Piast eagle and tactical numbers. These markings set the Polish formations apart from the Soviet ones and make a rewarding subject for the Eastern Front.
Apply the decals over smooth gloss clear as a guard against silvering. Once dry, a softener helps the markings bed onto a broken-up surface. Finally unify the surface with matte clear and add weathering to match front-line service.
This is not a model of a vehicle but a set of decals. The kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
