This correction decal set in 1:35 scale from the Slovak brand Armour Models brings supplementary and corrective markings for models of the Soviet 2K11 Krug antiaircraft missile system (SA-4 Ganef in the NATO code). These are waterslide decals intended to complete a plastic model, not a kit. The set serves to replace or extend the decals from the box with more accurate technical stencils and markings.
The 2K11 Krug was a Soviet mobile medium- to long-range antiaircraft missile system introduced in the 1960s. The launcher carried the missile on a tracked chassis and the system formed the backbone of air defense at army formation level. The vehicles carried a range of service and warning stencils, which this set refines.
Apply the decals onto a smooth, gloss or satin varnished surface. Cut the motifs out, dip them briefly in lukewarm water and move them onto the model; a decal softener will settle them into the relief. Once dry, seal them with a clear varnish. Before applying them, compare the placement of the stencils with documentation and with the decals from the original kit.
The decals are an accessory for a kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
