An injection-molded plastic kit of the classic German three-ton cargo truck of the 3,6-36S type with the normal flatbed cargo body (Pritsche), in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. The set contains clear parts, photo-etched parts and a decal sheet for several options. The model serves well as a supply and transport vehicle in Second World War dioramas.
The 3,6-36S type is one of the standard German three-ton cargo trucks of the Second World War, versatile vehicles widely used to carry supplies, troops and materiel on every front. The form with the normal flatbed cargo body (Pritsche-Normal) was the most common body variant. The truck stands as a typical representative of the logistical backbone of the German army.
Assemble and paint the chassis, the cab and the cargo body separately, and only then join the whole together. Paint the tires in a flat color separately, and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Lay the base coat on with an airbrush over primer; add washes and fine pigments for dust and mud to the cargo body and the tarpaulin. The load in the cargo bed can be treated as a scene in its own right.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
