The 76.2 mm D-56T barrel for the PT-76 mod.1951 in 1:35 is a precisely turned metal barrel that replaces the plastic part with no casting seams.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a turned metal gun barrel, not a tank model and not resin. The precisely machined barrel of the 76.2 mm D-56T gun replaces the plastic barrel on models of the Soviet PT-76 amphibious tank mod. 1951 in 1:35 scale. The metal part is perfectly straight, free of casting seams and with a crisply defined muzzle and muzzle brake.
The PT-76 was a Soviet light amphibious reconnaissance tank armed with the 76.2 mm D-56T gun. The long slim barrel is a prominent feature on which a plastic part often suffers from bending and a visible seam.
Glue the metal barrel with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with two-part glue, because ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on metal. Degrease the surface before painting and apply a primer for metal so that the paint holds well; then match the shade to the rest of the model.
It is supplied as a turned metal accessory, unpainted. Glue, primer, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
