This brass photo-etched set serves to improve the detail of plastic models of the German 88mm FLAK 37 gun in 1:35 scale. It is neither a model nor a kit of the gun, but an accessory that replaces and refines selected plastic parts with etched components. The basic model is not included in the package. The set is cut for the Dragon 6287 kit.
Photo-etch brings thin elements that cannot be cast faithfully in plastic: grilles, clips, brackets, plates and other small details of the carriage and the gun shield. The result is more precise and more realistic workmanship than the parts from the box.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard mat, bend them with a photo-etch bending tool or a metal ruler and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or two-part epoxy. Degrease the brass before painting and go over it with primer for metal.
This is a detail set, not a model. The basic kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
