This product is neither a kit nor a finished model: it is a set of photo-etched metal parts from the Polish manufacturer Aber for building additional (applique) armor on models of the American M10 tank destroyer in 1:35 scale.
The M10 was an American tank destroyer of the Second World War with an open turret and sloped armor. In the field, plates of additional armor with brackets were often added to the hull and the turret. The photo-etched set makes it possible to build these armor plates including their mounts from thin metal with the correct edge thickness, which coarse plastic cannot capture faithfully.
Glue the photo-etched sheet with super glue (cyanoacrylate); for strength it can be soldered. Make the bends in a photo-etch bending tool or over a metal ruler. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer. The set is more demanding and suits experienced modelers.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
