1:35 AFGHAN CIVILIANS

Afghan Civilians (1:35, MiniArt)

The set contains five figures of Afghan civilians in traditional dress. These are injection-molded plastic parts with fine rendering of the folds of the clothing and of the accessories. The figures will bring a diorama of the modern conflicts in Central Asia to life and give the scene a civilian dimension and a story.

The real subject

In recent decades Afghanistan has been the scene of a series of conflicts, which inevitably reached into the everyday life of the civilian population. Traditional Afghan dress with long shirts, scarves and head coverings is characteristic of the region and in a modeling scene brings a strong contrast to military vehicles.

Building and painting tips

Separate the parts from the sprues and clean up the mold seams, and use thin cement for plastic to glue them. We recommend a base color applied with an airbrush and then working the faces and clothing up with a brush. The earthy, natural tones of the clothing come to life with shading in the folds and gentle edge highlighting; realistic faces raise the overall impression considerably.
