A plastic kit of the MiniArt All-Around/Rowcrop Standard N Tractor (1936 Conversion) in 1:35 scale - the prewar American farm tractor.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from MiniArt in 1:35 scale represents the Standard N tractor in the American All-Around/Rowcrop configuration of 1936. The model is richly detailed, holds photo-etched parts as well and has a finely rendered engine. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted and suits a model on its own as well as a civilian element in a diorama of a prewar or rural setting.
The All-Around/Rowcrop configuration was meant for work in row crops - the tractor had a wheel arrangement and a ground clearance suited to driving between the rows of plants. The 1936 version captures the machine in a purely civilian farming form, still before the later military and utility adaptations. It was a reliable working tractor typical of the countryside of the 1930s.
Clean the parts up and glue them with liquid cement for plastic, and attach the photo-etched parts with super glue. Paint the engine and the chassis before the whole is closed up. Use a primer and an airbrush; a civilian tractor looks rewarding with wear - scuffed paint, a hint of rust, dust and mud on the wheels give the machine its working character.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
