Aber 1:35 barrel cleaning rods with brackets for the Tiger I (Tunisia) is a metal detail set from the Polish maker Aber in 1:35 scale. It is an accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This detail set from the Polish firm Aber for 1:35 scale holds turned metal barrel cleaning rods and photo-etched mounts in the version corresponding to the Tiger I tanks committed in Tunisia. It is neither a model nor a kit of a tank, but a finishing accessory that replaces the simplified plastic parts from the box and makes the arrangement of the equipment on the hull and the fenders more accurate.
The rods for cleaning the barrel were carried in bundles fastened by mounts on the hull. The early tanks committed in North Africa had the mounts and the layout of the equipment arranged differently, which this version of the set takes into account. Turned rods and fine photo-etched brackets give a truer result than the plastic version.
Separate the photo-etched mounts with a sharp knife and shape them with a bending tool or with tweezers. Shorten the turned rods if necessary and glue everything with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the brass and spray it with primer before painting. Work in a well-ventilated room.
This is a finishing accessory for advanced modelers. The product itself is neither a model nor a kit, and the base model of the tank is not included in the package.
