An injection-molded plastic set of figures from the Ukrainian manufacturer MiniArt in 1:35 scale. This special edition holds five soldiers, three American and two German, supplemented by weapons and personal gear. The scene is based on the real fighting during the German offensive in the Ardennes at the turn of 1944 and 1945.
The Ardennes Offensive was the last major German attack on the Western Front in the winter of 1944 to 1945. The fighting took place in dense forest and snow in freezing weather, which is reflected in the clothing and gear of the soldiers on both sides. The set suits depicting a winter front as well as the capture of an opponent.
Glue the figures with liquid cement for plastic and clean up the joints and any parting lines. For a lively result we recommend a base of primer, shading and lightening with inks or oils, and accentuating the gear. A winter scene shows to best effect with snow and mud effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
