This version in 3D-printed resin from Firma49 puts the stress on a higher level of detail than the basic one. It is not a standalone model but a decorative accessory for the crews and interiors of armored vehicles in 1:35 scale. The finely rendered surface of the helmet comes into its own above all as a close detail in a diorama.
British tank helmets protected the heads of tank crews in the cramped space of a vehicle in the Second World War. Their characteristic shape differed from infantry helmets and it is a rewarding detail that gives a scene authenticity.
Wash the part, separate it from the casting block and clean it up. Before removing the supports, the resin can be dipped briefly in hot water so that it softens slightly and does not start to chip; it hardens again once cooled. Bond it with cyanoacrylate glue. We recommend a primer, paint and a fine patina to bring out the detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
